The homeowners of this Brentwood Bay home have elegant tastes and love warm tones. Knowing they wanted a buttery yellow colour on their walls, Alexis Soloman, Principal of MINT Design and IKAN Designer, suggested using IKEA cabinet doors Ramsjo Red-Brown to help create the cozy and inviting kitchen they desired. Alexis also pointed out how IKAN could easily convert unused counter space at the back of the kitchen into a wall of pantries, which would maximize storage in this not-so-big kitchen.
The results? You can see for yourself and take it from the owner: they are very pleased, and were especially happy with their decision to hire professionals as they saw the many IKEA boxes and pieces to be assembled and watched the IKAN installer working away with ease.
The peninsula seen above replaced a movable island on wheels, giving the owners more square feet of countertop and storage than they had.
