The annual Interior Design Show (IDS) 2013 took place in Toronto at the end of January and inspired members of the design community and the public alike with innovative design for every room in the house. Among the standout exhibitors at IDS 2013 was IKEA, whose incredible booth featured kitchen and bathroom design featuring IKEA products showcased in a "rustic, industrial side of Scandinavian design."IKEA set out to show attendees that their products can "display a level of care and craft to the interior environment," even though the international giant serves over 734 million people a year. Their booth featured new products like the light grey SOFIELUND walnut doors in the kitchen and GODMORGON white-stained oak cabinets in the bathroom paired with antiques and industrial pieces for an eclectic design.
