Robert and Regan's Fairfield condo kitchen was in desperate need of a renovation. As is common in condos, the kitchen was tiny and in this case, closed off from the rest of their living space. We created a design that opened up a wall between the kitchen and living room and created a great peninsula with lots of storage. Robert and Regan wanted to reduce the number of upper cabinets in order to maintain an open feel so with storage at a premium the IKAN team designed a beautiful dining room hutch with smoked glass doors to coordinate with the IKEA GNOSJO doors used in their kitchen.
Robert and Regan's new condo kitchen is anything but cramped. The space feels open and inviting and we love how easily they infused their personalities with art and functional accessories like the orange enameled cast iron frying pan hanging above the sink.
