Starting as a high end design feature reserved for antique fixtures and handmade hardware, brass and gold kitchen accents have become a huge trend and are now becoming readily available. In fact, even IKEA is on board with this golden trend and their FAGLAVIK handle collection in lacquered zinc is an antique gold colour that looks truly stunning with their LIDINGO grey kitchen doors and drawers.
We love the look of gold coloured kitchen fixtures and Delta has come out with a golden finish they call 'champagne bronze' for their touch-activated Trinsic sink faucet. Brass and gold tabletop accessories are also a big trend and we love West Elm's gold flatware and gold rimmed glassware (if you can substitute your Grandparent's gold rimmed bar ware, even better!).
