Overlooking the Saanich Inlet, this kitchen needed an overhaul to go with its spectacular view. High ceilings allowed designer, Alexis Solomon of MINT Design, to heighten the upper cabinets and extend the counter space. Alexis' design also made use of hard-to-reach cupboard space by creating a custom appliance garage with IKEA's AVSIKT roll-front cabinet so small appliances are out of sight but still within reach.Working with IKEA RAMSJO Red Brown doors and drawers, Alexis gave the homeowners plenty of storage, including a large pantry with pull-out drawers which they love for accessibility of every inch of space. The beautiful backsplash was provided by Mobile Tile by Madico and looks gorgeous with new granite countertops.
